Making Sure It's a Perfect Fit!

Your liner is sent after you have completed the construction part, this allows for a margin of error, also customers often decide to dig down to get a few extra gallons, if you decide you want the liner sending out with the kit regardless... just let us know, not a problem. We use 1mm Butyl Box Welded Liners, these have a 25 year guarantee and come with premium felt underlay to protect your liner. Box welded liners are made to fit your specific pond and are made to the millimetre, NO folding corners anymore, they are welded to the shape of a box in a UK factory and simply drop in!

Pond window size is half of the largest length - if you need a window in the shorter end please contact us and we will create a new product for you to purchase online. Glass is typically half of the width of your pond, so a 3 metre pond would have approx 1500mm wide piece of glass.

Fitting a pond window sound like a daunting task? it's actually a very simple process, just follow our simple instructions and you WILL be impressed at what YOU are capable of. Ground Prep

Sleeper pond kits are best being laid on solid ground (not soil or grass), this may be a patio, concrete pad or any other level solid base, soil isn't the best base as it will keep the bottom course of sleepers wet and will reduce their lifespan.

Delivery!

 

Your kit will arrive by haulier on a pallet, shrink wrapped and banded together in stages to allow you to offload it piece by piece, cut the banding that is holding the upper most timbers first, this keeps the pallet solid and reduces the chances of parts falling off. Timbers are up to 30kg each so require 2 people minimum to be available for offloading. If you order a very large kit you will need more people to carry the glass which can be over 100kg, glass comes loose and you will need somewhere safe to store it.

Saturday deliveries are possible but is usually a lot more expensive, just ask for a quote.

Coping Planks

Your coping will come separately, this is due to the length being too long for a palletised delivery. We don't supply screws for this as some customers prefer to screw them in, others nail them in and some use sealant. You are also required to cut your coping so you can choose to either mitre the corners or just cut at 90 degree angles and follow the sleeper interlocking pattern.

If you would like to have a part above and part below pond please contact us for a price, this can be arranged!

Glass lead times are 3 to 4 weeks, customers are responsible for offloading of glass and sleeper kits by handball, please have at least 2 people present for offloading, or more for larger pond kits.

• Liner, underlay and copings are sent out following you building the main pond structure and sending in your measurements, this ensures a good fit incase of any mistakes or plan changes.

• With Window - Window will be half the length (longest side) of your pond, if you prefer the width instead we can arrange that also.
• Pond size is external and has a tolerance of 1cm per sleeper on each measurement.
