FAQ: Pond Glass Delivery

FAQ: Pond Glass Delivery

What is the current delivery lead time?

The current delivery lead time for our glass products is an average of 15 working days from the date of placing the order. We cannot give a specific delivery date right away as the glass is placed in a production que with many processes for it to go through, if the glass gets damaged or fails inspection at any point this can cause delays. We strive to ensure that your order is delivered to you as quickly as possible.

Why does it mention glass delivery can happen the following day?

Yes, in some cases your glass can be delivered on the day following the given delivery day, this can be because traffic, breakdowns and any other delays. If we give you a date say Monday, that means we expect it to reach you Monday. If given Monday or Tuesday it means there is a chance it will be delivered the following day unless the driver manages to complete all his deliveries with absolutely no delays.

What are the delivery hours?

Deliveries are made between 08:00 and 17:30. Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery during these hours. Delivery personnel will require a signature upon delivery.

What should I do if there are defects in the glass upon delivery?

It is important to inspect the glass at the point of delivery. If you notice any defects, please reject the delivery. We want to ensure that you receive a product of the highest quality. If you accept delivery and then notice a problem it is your responsibility to return the glass to the manufacturer which can be very costly.

What type of delivery is provided?

Our deliveries are curb side only. This means that the delivery will be made to the curb or nearest accessible point. Please ensure that you have enough people on site to assist with offloading the products, for every 85kg you should have at least 2 people. If the driver deems it safe to help they may help, but are not obliged to. Any damages will be your responsibility if they happen at the point of delivery.

What happens if a delivery fails?

In the event of a failed delivery (this is where you are not in to accept delivery), a redelivery charge will be applicable. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly request that you ensure someone is available to receive the delivery as scheduled. Redelivery is priced by the company delivering the items and not CWD Sandbach Ltd

What if I order the incorrect size/thickness of glass?

Please note that CWD will not be responsible for any failing of glass due to incorrect size or thickness being ordered. It is important to double-check your order before placing it to avoid any issues.

Can I cancel or amend my order?

As each pane is made to order, you have 48 hours from the time of placing the order to cancel or amend it. After this time, we may not be able to accommodate any changes. Please ensure that you review your order carefully.
